Nanotechnology in Skin Cancer Therapy: Recent Progress in Targeted Delivery

open access: yesThe Kaohsiung Journal of Medical Sciences, Volume 42, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Skin cancer, encompassing melanoma and non‐melanoma types, remains a significant public health concern globally. Conventional therapies—such as surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy—are constrained by poor skin penetration, systemic toxicity, and high recurrence rates.

Molecular mechanistic insights into the OX40–OX40L complex from biophysical and computational analyses

open access: yesProtein Science, Volume 35, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract OX40 and OX40L belong to the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily (TNFRSF) and tumor necrosis factor superfamily (TNFSF), respectively. Protein–protein interactions between OX40 and OX40L facilitate T cell responses, triggering various immunological and pathophysiological events.

Epidemiological Dynamics of a Visually Apparent Disease: Camera Trapping and Machine‐Learning Applied to Rumpwear in the Common Brushtail Possum

open access: yesIntegrative Zoology, Volume 21, Issue 1, Page 116-128, January 2026.
Visually apparent diseases are valuable for investigating and monitoring the occurrence and prevalence of pathogens in wildlife populations through passive monitoring methods like camera trapping. Rumpwear is characterized by visible signs of hair breakage and damage on the lumbosacral region of common brushtail possums.

The Role of Susceptibility in the Association Between Exposures and Occupational Contact Dermatitis: A Scoping Review

open access: yesContact Dermatitis, Volume 94, Issue 1, Page 1-27, January 2026.
Substantial evidence links work‐related exposures to occupational contact dermatitis, but worker responses vary. A total of 44 individual susceptibility factors and 53 work‐related exposures were identified. The impact of non‐work‐related susceptibility factors remains unclear.
