Hand eczema and changes in the skin microbiome after 2 weeks of topical corticosteroid treatment

Our results suggest that the microbiome, and not only Staphylococcus aureus, in moderate‐to‐severe hand eczema is significantly altered in lesional skin; however, shifting towards that of nonlesional skin following 2 weeks of treatment with a potent topical corticosteroid.
