The rise in ophthalmic diseases due to aging, screen use, and environmental factors has driven demand for better ocular models. Traditional systems fall short, encouraging the development of organ‐on‐chip devices. These microfluidic platforms replicate eye tissue architecture, enable drug screening, and simulate ocular diseases.

A novel multiple cross‐linked betaine‐type amphiphilic polymer hydrogels are developed via in situ free radical copolymerization. The resultant formation, named P(SBMA‐co‐AANa) hydrogel, functions as a vitreous substitute and demonstrates superior performance in optical properties, support capacity, and biocompatibility on a vitrectomized rabbit model.

This study elucidates the critical role of Rictor in macrophage activation in acute antibody‐mediated rejection (ABMR). Rictor increases K48‐linked ubiquitination of p65 by upregulating E3 ubiquitin ligase SOCS1, inhibiting transcriptional levels of NLRP3 and inflammasome activation.
