A Refined Adaptive Laboratory Evolution Strategy With Biosensor‐Assisted Selection Resolves the Tolerance–Efficiency Trade‐Off in Toxic Chemical Biosynthesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a refined adaptive laboratory evolution (ALE) strategy to resolve the trade‐off between tolerance and biosynthetic efficiency in toxic chemical production. Combining in vivo mutagenesis, microdroplet‐based evolution, and biosensor‐assisted selection, this strategy rapidly yields robust “win‐win” phenotypes.

Hsa_circ_0026782 Acts as a “Molecular Break” of CREB1‐Mediated Transcription by Promoting Its Phosphorylation at Ser142 That Prevents Keloid Progression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 40, October 27, 2025.
Model for the role of hsa_circ_0026782/p‐CREB1 (Ser142) played in keloid. Hsa_circ_0026782 is derived from back‐splicing of ITGA7 exon 4. When hsa_circ_0026782 binds to CREB1, the exposure of the bZIP domain and dimerization of CREB1 are promoted (upper left).

High‐Performance Electrochemical Adhesives Enabled by Perfluorinated Sulfonic‐Acid Ionomers with Precise Adhesion Control and Long‐Term Switchability

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Electrochemical adhesion provides stable, long‐term adhesion without continuous power input after electro‐programming, enabling applications that require durable and controllable adhesion, such as biomedical patches, structural health monitoring sensors, and aerospace devices. Herein, we demonstrate high‐performance electrochemical adhesives based on a
