Interdiffusion in the Ir-Rich Solid Solutions of Ir-Pt, Ir-Rh, and Ir-Re Binary Alloys [PDF]

Interdiffusivity in the Ir-rich solid solutions of Ir-X (X = Pt, Rh and Re) binary alloys was investigated in the temperature range of 2073-2373 K. The interdiffusion coefficients within the solute concentration range up to 10 at.% were evaluated through conventional diffusion-couple experiments.

Exciton Binding Energy of Phosphorescent Emitter Molecules in Organic Light‐Emitting Diodes

Energy level alignment is key to efficient OLED design, yet determining LUMO energies remains challenging. A methodology based on field‐induced dissociation and kinetic Monte Carlo simulations is presented to extract LUMO energies of iridium‐based phosphorescent emitters from their exciton binding energy.

Design and Synthesis of Peptide‐Polyester Conjugates for Cell‐Mediated Scaffold Degradation

This work describes polycaprolactone (PCL)‐based biomaterials engineered to degrade in response to cell‐secreted proteases. A fast‐degrading peptide (Fast) sequence is integrated into a PCL conjugate backbone to produce a biomaterial that is selectively degraded by multiple cell types compared to its scrambled control (ScrFast).
