ACM SIGARCH Computer Architecture News, 2014
Heterogeneous multicore architectures have the potential for high performance and energy efficiency. These architectures may be composed of small power-efficient cores, large high-performance cores, and/or specialized cores that accelerate the performance of a particular class of computation.

Typing the ISA to cluster the processor
Future Generation Computer Systems, 2001We propose a separation of the processor units to decrease the communication path lengths. The motivation comes from the increasing importance of intrachip signaling delays. The technique consists in separating the instruction set into types and the die into corresponding units.

Directions in ISA Specification
2012This rough diamond presents a new domain-specific language (DSL) for producing detailed models of Instruction Set Architectures, such as ARM and x86. The language’s design and methodology is discussed and we propose future plans for this work. Feedback is sought from the wider theorem proving community in helping establish future directions for this ...

Proceedings of the 5th Workshop on Variability Modeling of Software-Intensive Systems, 2011
In software projects, and particularly in Software Product Line (SPL) projects, product composition and deployment are tasks that are not supported by open source tools. These tasks are repetitive and error-prone. Automation helps on reducing the errors while the productivity increases.
