Over the years, Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS) has spurred a lot of controversies on its legitimacy and integrity. The criticisms mainly stem from the obscuring effect of ISDS on legitimate government regulation and the adventurist manner in which arbitral tribunals interpret substantive rights favouring foreign investors.

Business process simulation: An alternative modelling technique for the information system development process [PDF]
This paper discusses the idea that even though information systems development (ISD) approaches have long advocated the use of integrated organisational views, the modelling techniques used have not been adapted accordingly and remain focused on the ...

Gate Enhancing Charge‐Spin Conversion in Organic Chiral Field Effect Transistors
Room‐temperature organic chiral multiferroic field effect transistors are demonstrated, enabling bidirectional control between spin and charge. Specifically, spin polarization affects the ferroelectric polarization, and ferroelectric polarization, in turn, can modulate spin polarization and spin‐dependent transport.

Isoscalar dipole coherence at low energies and forbidden E1 strength
In 16O and 40Ca an isoscalar, low-energy dipole transition (IS-LED) exhausting approximately 4% of the isoscalar dipole (ISD) energy-weighted sum rule is experimentally known, but conspicuously absent from recent theoretical investigations of ISD ...

Isovector and isoscalar dipole excitations in $^{9}$Be and $^{10}$Be studied with antisymmetrized molecular dynamics [PDF]
Isovector and isoscalar dipole excitations in $^9$Be and $^{10}$Be are investigated in the framework of antisymmetrized molecular dynamics, in which angular-momentum and parity projections are performed.

Programmable RNA N6,2´‐O‐Dimethyladenosine Editing
ABSTRACT N6,2’‐O‐dimethyladenosine (m6Am) is a prevalent RNA modification located at the first transcribed nucleotide adjacent to the 5′ cap of mRNAs, where it has been implicated in gene regulation. However, the lack of methods for precise, transcript‐specific manipulation of m6Am has limited its functional dissection.
