Ising ferromagnets in Ising-percolation square lattices, an example of Ising-Ising coupling
Physical Review E, 2018In this paper we consider the Ising model (called the dynamical Ising model with dynamical temperature $T$) on the Ising-correlated percolation lattice. To construct this lattice, another Ising model (which is called the quenched Ising model with quench artificial temperature ${T}_{q}$) is employed to model the correlations between imperfections.

The Ising model has been explored as a framework for modeling NP-hard problems, with several diverse systems proposed to solve it. The Magnetic Tunnel Junction– (MTJ) based Magnetic RAM is capable of replacing CMOS in memory chips. In this article, we propose the use of MTJs for representing the units of an Ising model and leveraging its intrinsic ...

Statistics of the Ising Ferromagnet
Physical Review, 1958The model of ferromagnetism proposed by Ising is treated by synthesizing a cluster treatment with the spherical model. The spherical model is used to determine approximately the molecular field acting on the cluster and the effective interactions between dipoles of the cluster. The method is applied to the square net and to the cubic lattice and the ...

With vast amounts of data being produced, present world is overwhelmed with information and searching for appropriate content has turned out to be harder than ever before. Semantics, which typically focuses on the relationship between signifiers, such as words, phrases, signs and symbols, and what they stand for is now being used more and more in ...

In this paper we describe a numerical method of solving the local-density mean-field equations of spatially frustrated lattice models. Using techniques of simulated annealing and simultaneous updating of collective modes, we have been able to locate the global minima of a function with many nearby local minima.

ON ISING'S MODEL OF FERROMAGNETISM
Mathematical Proceedings of the Cambridge Philosophical Society, 1936Ising discussed the following model of a ferromagnetic body: Assume N elementary magnets of moment μ to be arranged in a regular lattice; each of them is supposed to have only two possible orientations, which we call positive and negative. Assume further that there is an interaction energy U for each pair of neighbouring magnets of opposite direction ...

Ising lattices model spatial interaction among binary variables, and consequently, are relevant to many scientific disciplines. They are intuitively appealing models because their conditional distributions are given locally (they are Markov fields). On the other hand, their marginal distributions (even for pairs of sites, let alone triples, etc.) are ...

On the Capacity of Generalized Ising Channels
IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 2015Nearly tight lower and upper bounds on the capacity of generalized Ising channels are presented. For the case where feedback is allowed, a closed-form expression for the capacity is found for channel error probability $ p\in [{0, p_{0}}]$ , where $ p_{0}\approx 0.398324$ .
