Plasmid‐like DNA sequences frequently found in bovine milk and serum have been proposed as infectious agents promoting indirect carcinogenesis. This multi‐omics study detected immune cells positive for these bovine meat and milk factors (BMMFs) in patients with lung cancer, with BMMF expression inversely correlated with smoking intensity.

ABSTRACT Between April and July 2020, suspected outbreaks of nervous necrosis virus (NNV) infection were observed in fourfinger threadfin (Eleutheronema tetradactylum) fingerling hatcheries in Pingtung County, southern Taiwan. Affected fish exhibited spiral swimming behaviour and abdominal distension, resulting in mortality rates between 50% and 100 ...

Abstract Endocervical gastric‐type adenocarcinoma (GAS) is one of the most aggressive subtypes of cervical cancer and is frequently underdiagnosed due to morphological ambiguity, leading to delayed diagnosis. Despite the availability of molecular and genomic assays, their high cost, complexity, and limited reproducibility restrict clinical use.

ABSTRACT Somatostatin receptor 2 is expressed in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). We report genomic and transcriptomic analysis results of 163 NPC cases, demonstrating that somatostatin receptor 2 (SSTR2) gene expression in EBV‐positive and in EBV‐negative NPC correlated with genomic alterations and an inflamed microenvironment.

ABSTRACT Nodular fasciitis (NF) is a self‐limiting mesenchymal neoplasm that typically occurs in the subcutaneous tissue of the extremities, trunk, and head and neck region; involvement of the parotid gland is very rare. The cytological features of NF can closely mimic those seen in salivary gland neoplasms, particularly pleomorphic adenoma (PA ...
