Size, Spines, and Nests: What Drives Variation in Death‐Feigning Behavior in Fungus‐Farming Ants?
We investigated death‐feigning (DF; thanatosis) in fungus‐farming ants, testing how stimulus intensity, morphology, and nest traits shape its occurrence and duration using generalized linear mixed models. Stronger stimuli increased both likelihood and duration, but most variation was structured across species, colonies, and individuals.

Photocatalytic degradation of reactive dye RED-3BA in aqueous TiO2 suspension under UV-visible light
The photo-catalytic degradation efficiency of several commercial titania powders (Degussa P-25 and Ishihara Sangyo ST-01) and of TiO2 supported on diatomite were investigated in the degradation of a reactive dye (RED-3BA) under UV-Visible light.

Matrine–Tea Saponin Synergism Involves Suppressed Detoxification and Digestion in a Leaf Beetle
Tea saponin and matrine showed synergistic toxicity against Plagiodera versicolora. Combined exposure suppressed digestion‐ and detoxification‐related processes, while silencing the trypsin gene Pver105950 and chitinase gene Pver001190 increased larval susceptibility to tea saponin and matrine, respectively.

Abstract Background On‐task behaviour in the classroom, which partly relies on inhibitory control, contributes to academic achievement. Physical activity has much potential to facilitate on‐task behaviour due to its positive association with inhibitory control.

Embodied attention shapes temporal cognition
Abstract Humans rely on spatial representations to process both temporal duration and mentally project themselves across time. Yet, it remains unclear whether this spatial–temporal mapping depends on embodied mechanisms or on abstract attentional codes. We investigated whether embodied cues (gaze direction) versus abstract cues optokinetic stimulation (
