Early stages of tooth development in the harbor porpoise Phocoena phocoena
Abstract Here we describe the stages of tooth development in toothed whales on the basis of the harbor porpoise (Phocoena phocoena). The aim of the study was to find out whether these stages are identical to those of other mammals analyzed so far although toothed whales are homodont and monophyodont.

Remarks about a paper dealing with the equivalence of Mann and Ishikawa iterations
We give an affirmative answer to the following question: are Mann and Ishikawa iterations equivalent under the assumptions that \(\lim_{n\rightarrow\infty }\alpha_{n}\neq0\;\) and \(\lim_{n\rightarrow\infty}\beta_{n}\neq0\)?

We show that the Ishikawa iteration and the corresponding Mann iteration are equivalent when applied to ψ-uniformly pseudocontractive or ψ-uniformly accretive maps.

An equivalence between the convergences of Ishikawa, Mann and Picard iterations [PDF]
We will show that the convergence of Picard iteration is equivalent to the convergence of Mann and Ishikawa iterations, when the operator is a contraction and aymptotic ...

THE MODIFIED JUNGCK MANN AND MODIFIED JUNGCK ISHIKAWA ITERATION SCHEMES FOR ZAMFIRESCU OPERATORS
The purpose of this paper is to establish some strong convergence results of the modified Jungck Mann and modified Jungck Ishikawa iteration schemes to a common fixed point for Zamfirescu operators.

Mitochondria and the Actin Cytoskeleton in Neurodegeneration
ABSTRACT Mitochondrial dysfunction and cytoskeletal disorganization are widely recognized hallmarks of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease (AD), Parkinson's disease (PD), Huntington's disease (HD), and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

Non-trivial Center Dominance in High Temperature QCD
We investigate the properties of quarks and gluons above the chiral phase transition temperature $T_c,$ using the RG improved gauge action and the Wilson quark action with two degenerate quarks mainly on a $32^3\times 16$ lattice.

Convergence of Ishikawa iterates of generalized nonexpansive mappings [PDF]
This paper is concerned with the convergence of Ishikawa iterates of generalized nonexpansive mappings in both uniformly convex and strictly convex Banach spaces. Several fixed point theorems are discussed.
