Development of a Novel, All‐Aromatic High Tensile Modulus Liquid Crystalline Polyimide for Fused Filament Fabrication Applications

A novel, high tensile modulus, fully aromatic thermotropic liquid crystalline polyimide (LCPI) with better solvent resistance and thermal stability is synthesized. Tensile specimens are fabricated using both injection molding and FFF processes, accomplished via lower viscosity enabled by the LC phase.

A combination of von Neuman model and dataflow model is also tried in the past and the resultant model is referred as hybrid dataflow execution model.
