Residue‐Free Fabrication of 2D Materials Using van der Waals Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Residue‐free 2D materials with exceptional cleanliness and high quality are achieved using van der Waals interaction‐based fabrication and manipulation techniques, completely free from polymers and solvents. Precise manipulation enables the construction of vdW heterostructures with controlled alignment, expanding the potential of 2D materials for next ...

Mechanical Resonant Sensing of Spin Texture Dynamics in a 2D Antiferromagnet

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Detection of antiferromagnetic spin texture in a 2D magnetic crystal is achieved through nanomechanical resonators at radio frequencies. Sharp magnetic transitions that lead to abrupt changes in mechanical linear and nonlinear responses are assigned to antiferromagnetic domain motions.

MODIFIED ISING MODEL FOR GENERATING BINARY IMAGES

open access: yesJurnal Informatika, 2007
In this paper the Ising model is modified by considering its parameters as a vector that depends on the neighborhoods of the image's pixels. We applied this modification for generating binary images, provided the original image is given.

Spontaneous Charging from Sliding Water Drops Determines the Interfacial Deposition of Charged Solutes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 16, April 23, 2025.
When water drops slide on hydrophobic surfaces, they spontaneously leave behind negative charges along their path, resulting in the drops becoming positively charged. Here, it is shown that this phenomenon, known as slide electrification, influences the deposition of charged dissolved molecules.

Manipulating the Assembly and Architecture of Fibrillar Silk

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, advanced in situ AFM, PiFM, and Cryo‐EM are leveraged to realize in situ observations of nucleation, growth, and degradation of silk nanofibrils. A clear picture of the assembly and structural evolution of regenerated silk nanofibrils is defined and demonstrates a novel strategy for manipulating their structure and properties, which ...
