A Robust Nanocatalyst Incorporating Multi‐Walled Carbon Nanotubes Infused with Magnetic Nanoparticles and Biguanide–Silver Nanoparticles for Multicomponent Synthesis of Benzopyrano‐Pyrimidines

open access: yesChemistryOpen, EarlyView.
A highly efficient and environmentally friendly synthetic method has been developed for the preparation of benzopyrano‐pyrimidines using MWCNTs/MNPs‐Biguanide‐Ag NPs as a heterogeneous nanocatalyst in choline chloride–urea (ChCl–Urea) deep eutectic solvent.

Hunting motivations, behaviour and forest access: Characterising wildlife hunting practices in a multi‐ethnic, forested landscape of Brunei Darussalam, Southeast Asia

open access: yesPeople and Nature, EarlyView.
Abstract Unsustainable hunting practices can alter population dynamics, driving biodiversity declines, which leads to ‘empty forests’. Understanding hunting behaviour, including motivations for hunting and relationships with market drivers, and access to hunting grounds are important to develop affirmative policies to stem biodiversity loss.

Saplings of significance: Nurturing cultural value of new tree plantings through participatory opportunities

open access: yesPeople and Nature, EarlyView.
Abstract Tree‐planting initiatives are a crucial part of international sustainability and climate action efforts. Yet, many of these initiatives fail to achieve their long‐term sustainability and climate goals. The role of community value is an often‐overlooked factor in promoting the success of new tree plantings.
