Research on Microgrid Control System with Different DG Types

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2013
According to the grid-connected and islanded operating modes of microgrid and the changeover between them,a control strategy of microgrid with different kinds of DG(distributed generation)was proposed, which monitors the operating states of both microgrid

Optimal sizing approach for islanded microgrids

open access: yesIET Renewable Power Generation, 2015
This study proposes a single‐objective optimal sizing approach for an islanded microgrid (IMG). The approach determines the optimal component sizes for the IMG, such that the life‐cycle cost is minimised while a low loss of power supply probability (LPSP) is ensured.

Advanced Virtual Impedance for Power‐Sharing Improvement in Microgrids Using Different SOGI Methods: A Comparative Study

open access: yesEnergy Technology, Volume 14, Issue 2, February 2026.
Advanced virtual impedance control integrating multiple second‐order generalized integrator (SOGI) variants—SOGI, ESOGI, MSOGI, and DSOGI—enhances power and harmonic sharing accuracy in islanded microgrids. The comparative study quantifies performance–complexity trade‐offs, demonstrating up to 65% total harmonic distortion (THD) reduction and improved ...

Bounds and Estimates for the Response to Correlated Fluctuations in Asymmetric Complex Networks

open access: yes, 2021
We study the spreading of correlated fluctuations through networks with asymmetric and weighted coupling. This can be found in many real systems such as renewable power grids. These systems have so far only been studied numerically.
