New Smart Passive Graphical Islanding Detection Method
As there is still a great argument on islanding detection methods, this paper presents a new smart passive graphical islanding detection method. The new method depends on measuring the instantaneous variation in phase voltage angle (θ) related to the instantaneous variation in phase voltage magnitude (V) and drawing the relationship between them.

Active islanding detection for multiple parallel-connected inverter-based distributed generators using high-frequency signal injection [PDF]
This paper proposes a method for islanding detection in microgrids with multiple parallel-connected inverters using high-frequency signal injection. In the proposed method, a master inverter injects the high-frequency signal which is used by the rest of ...

E2A selectively regulates TGF‐β–induced apoptosis in KRAS‐mutant non‐small cell lung cancer
Ability to induce apoptosis by TGF‐β is frequently lost in advanced lung adenocarcinoma despite intact TGF‐β signaling. We identify E2A as a mutant KRAS–dependent mediator of resistance to TGF‐β–induced apoptosis. TGF‐β induces E2A via SMAD3 in mutant KRAS cells, and E2A silencing restores apoptosis and enhances radiation response in cell lines ...

Protection of AC and DC Microgrids: Challenges, Solutions and Future Trends [PDF]
In future, distributed energy resources (RESs) will be utilized at consumption points. As a consequence, power flow and fault current would be bidirectional and topologydependent; and hence the conventional protection strategies would be inefficient ...

Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Reliability analysis of single-phase photovoltaic inverters with reactive power support [PDF]
Reactive power support is expected to be an emerging ancillary requirement for single-phase photovoltaic (PV) inverters. This work assesses related reliability issues and focuses on the second stage or inversion process in PV inverters. Three PV inverter

SPG4 and Dementia: Expanding the Clinical Spectrum
ABSTRACT Objective Hereditary spastic paraplegia (HSP) is a group of disorders characterized by progressive spasticity and lower limb weakness, with mutations in SPG4/SPAST being the most common cause. Detailed studies and clinical and molecular comparisons across different populations are missing.
