Modification of the integral isoconversional method to account for variation in the activation energy

Journal of Computational Chemistry, 2000
Integral isoconversional methods may give rise to noticeable systematic error in the activation energy when the latter strongly varies with the extent of conversion. This error is eliminated by using an integration technique that properly accounts for the variation in the activation energy.

A simple and precise linear integral method for isoconversional data

Thermochimica Acta, 2008
A simple and precise linear integral method to evaluate the activation energy dependence on the extent of conversion has been proposed. The method leads to consistent results with those from differential and integral non-linear procedure (Vyazovkin method). Moreover, the new procedure yields the pre-exponential factor and the kinetic model.

Thermal decomposition of enalapril maleate studied by dynamic isoconversional method

Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry, 2005
The aspartame is an artificial sweetener was discovered accidentally in the United States by J. M. Schlatter in 1965. In this work the kinetic of the thermal decomposition of sweetener, containing aspartame as sweetening agent, by means isothermal TG method was studied.

STUDY OF THE DEVOLATILIZATION KINETICS OF KENAF BY ISOCONVERSIONAL METHODS. INFLUENCE OF VARIABLES

Environmental Engineering and Management Journal, 2018
The thermal degradation of kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus) under the effect of several variables (particle size, Ar flow rate, sample initial mass and heating rate) was investigated. From experimental data and by application of various model-free methods (Friedman, Kissinger-Akahira-Sunose and Flynn-Wall-Ozawa), the activation energies (EA) were calculated

Isoconversional Kinetic Analysis of Decomposition of Nitroimidazoles: Friedman method vs Flynn–Wall–Ozawa Method

The Journal of Physical Chemistry A, 2013
We have investigated the decomposition kinetics of imidazole, 2-nitroimidazole, and 4-nitroimidazole using TG-DTA technique under nitrogen atmosphere. Isoconversional methods were used for the evaluation of kinetic parameters from the kinetic data of different heating temperatures.

The isoconversional method for determination of energy of activation at constant heating rates

Journal of Thermal Analysis, 1983
The isoconversional method for the determination of energies of activation from the reciprocal temperature at which a fraction of conversion was reached in experiments at differing constant heating rates is reviewed and amplified. The error introduced into the calculation of activation energy by the use of a linear approximation of the logarithm of the

Kinetics of the Mixed Plastic Waste Catalytic Pyrolysis by Isoconversional Method

2020
