ABSTRACT The Greek peninsula lies at the intersection of major atmospheric circulation systems, making it a key location for reconstructing past climate variability in the Eastern Mediterranean. In this study, we present a new high‐resolution multi‐proxy speleothem record from Hermes Cave, located on the shoulder of the Corinth Rift in southern Greece.

A cohort of 21 HS patients treated with isotretinoin was enrolled in this study. The main outcome was HISCR50 achievement at week 16. Overall, 2/12 patients affected by follicular phenotype of HS and 2/9 patients affected by inflammatory phenotype of HS achieved HISCR50 at week 16. No significant difference was found in response to isotretinoin between

ON THE NUMERICAL CONTINUATION OF ISOLAS OF EQUILIBRIA [PDF]
We present a numerical strategy to compute one-parameter families of isolas of equilibrium solutions in ODEs. Isolas are solution branches closed in parameter space. Numerical continuation is required to compute one single isola since it contains at least one unstable segment. We show how to use pseudo-arclength predictor–corrector schemes in order to

Series expansions for Maass forms on the full modular group from the Farey transfer operators
We deepen the study of the relations previously established by Mayer, Lewis and Zagier, and the authors, among the eigenfunctions of the transfer operators of the Gauss and the Farey maps, the solutions of the Lewis-Zagier three-term functional equation ...

ABSTRACT Introduction The plasminogen activating (PA) system has a multitude of functions such as wound healing, proteolytic activity, collagen degradation and cell growth, and the role of the urokinase plasminogen activator/urokinase plasminogen activator receptor (uPA/uPAR) system has been studied in many disease states.

ABSTRACT Background Computer vision methods based on artificial intelligence (AI) have found numerous applications in endodontic diagnosis and treatment planning. While most current applications employ discriminative deep learning models for detection and classification tasks, the field is now witnessing the rise of generative AI (GenAI), a class of AI

Fractals in Noncommutative Geometry
To any spectral triple (A,D,H) a dimension d is associated, in analogy with the Hausdorff dimension for metric spaces. Indeed d is the unique number, if any, such that |D|^-d has non trivial logarithmic Dixmier trace. Moreover, when d is finite non-zero,
