Seismic-Based Geologic Framework and Reservoir Prediction of a Backstepping Isolated Carbonate Platform

open access: yes
The offshore Prospect W is an undrilled, isolated carbonate platform structure with over 1 km of depositional relief, steep slopes, and up to 5 km across in its youngest stages. High quality 3D seismic images a terraced peripheral morphology, the classic

Fully Additive Vertical Organic Electrochemical Transistors on Renewable and Compostable Substrates Enable Ultrasensitive Bioelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Fully additive vertical organic electrochemical transistors (vOECTs) with channel‐length of 226 nm on a 50 µm compostable substrate achieve >106 current modulation and ∼36 mS transconductance. Ion‐selective integration enables 1.1 mA dec−1 sensitivity and 36 µm detection limit, highlighting a scalable platform for sustainable electronics and ...

Electrospun Wood‐Derived Biopolymers as Electrodes in Electrochemical Energy Storage Technologies

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Electrospinning transforms wood‐derived cellulose and lignin into architecturally defined, binder‐free carbon electrodes with tuneable porosity and functionality. This review shows how fibre design enables decoupled charge and mass transport, enhancing performance across battery systems, while identifying key challenges in spinnability, scalability ...

Stratigraphic variability along windward and leeward slopes of an isolated carbonate platform, Cretaceous of central Mexico

open access: yes
Carbonate slopes record complex and often chaotic depositional patterns shaped by both intrinsic, sediment–gravity-driven processes and broader extrinsic controls acting on the platform system. Delineating the architecture produced by these influences is

Fusogenic RNA Nanomodules for Fusion‐Mediated and Multiplexed siRNA Delivery

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A fusogenic lipid‐layered RNA nanomodules (L‐CRAMs) enable high‐capacity and long‐lasting siRNA delivery through membrane fusion. These nanomodules carry exceptionally large siRNA payloads, avoid conventional endosomal uptake, and release multiple functional siRNAs through Dicer‐mediated processing.
