Input-output rearrangement of isolated converters

2015 IEEE Power and Energy Conference at Illinois (PECI), 2015
This paper presents a new way of rearranging the input and output of isolated converters. The new arrangement posses several advantages, as increased voltage range, higher power handling capabilities, reduced voltage stress and improved efficiency, for applications where galvanic isolation is not a requirement.

Novel non-isolated LLC resonant converters

2012 Twenty-Seventh Annual IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition (APEC), 2012
In this paper, a novel non-isolated LLC resonant converter is proposed. This converter can achieve most merits of isolated LLC resonant converter, like zero voltage switching and very low turn off loss for all MOSFETs. By non-isolated technique, the turns of transformer can be largely reduced.

Current-to-frequency isolation converter

Journal of Physics E: Scientific Instruments, 1985
A simple radiation-resistant current-to-frequency converter has been developed for the remote measurement of small currents (0.1-30 mu A) in lines at up to 4 kV above ground potential. the 6.5-9 MHz output frequency is a quasi-logarithmic function of the input current.

Galvanically isolated sepic converter

2014
SEPIC converter includes: a control unit (10); a transformer (23) having a primary winding (15), an auxiliary winding (16), and a secondary winding (20); a work capacitor (17) between the primary winding (15) and the auxiliary winding (16); a main switch (18) and a recovery switch (30), both controlled by the control unit (10) and connected ...

A Capacitive Galvanically Isolated Full-Bridge Converter

IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification
This paper proposes a transformerless, capacitively isolated converter based on a full-bridge topology with phase shift control. Compared to existing capacitively isolated converters, the proposed design offers the advantage of zero mean voltage across the isolating capacitors, thereby reducing voltage stress.

Isolated Switch-Mode DC-DC Converters

2017
In this chapter we discuss converter circuits that are used in power electronic circuits and systems to change the voltages from one dc level to another dc level. Once again, switching devices will be used to process energy from the input to the output.
