OptIForest: Optimal Isolation Forest for Anomaly Detection

open access: yesProceedings of the Thirty-Second International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence, 2023
Anomaly detection plays an increasingly important role in various fields for critical tasks such as intrusion detection in cybersecurity, financial risk detection, and human health monitoring. A variety of anomaly detection methods have been proposed, and a category based on the isolation forest mechanism stands out due to its simplicity, effectiveness,

Occurrence of Extramedullary Relapses in Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia After Treatment With Blinatumomab

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We report a retrospective single‐center analysis of pediatric patients with relapsed or refractory B‐cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia focusing on relapses outside of the typical locations, bone marrow, central nervous system, or testes.

Quality control algorithm of wind speed monitoring data along high-speed railway

open access: yesFrontiers in Energy Research, 2023
For studying the traffic safety of the high-speed railway, this research considers high-quality second-level wind speed data as its basis. However, the quality of second-level wind speed data can be greatly lowered by disturbances during data collection ...

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Identification of Spoofing Ships from Automatic Identification System Data via Trajectory Segmentation and Isolation Forest

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering, 2023
Outliers of ship trajectory from the Automatic Identification System (AIS) onboard a ship will affect the accuracy of maritime situation awareness, especially for a regular ship trajectory mixed with a spoofing ship, which has an unauthorized Maritime ...

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Insider Threat Detection Model Using Anomaly-Based Isolation Forest Algorithm

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
Insider attacks may inflict far greater damage to an organization than outsider threats since insiders are authorized users who are acquainted with the business’s system, making detection harder.

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.
