Reverse Passing of Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction With Simultaneous Anterolateral Ligament Reconstruction Using Hamstring Autograft

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, EarlyView.
Abstract Anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction continues to evolve as surgical techniques aim to optimize graft placement, increase rotational control, and reduce graft failure in high‐risk populations. This technical note describes an inverse anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction combined with an anatomic anterolateral ligament reconstruction,

A Geometric Characterization of Steady Laminar Flow

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We study the steady states of the Euler equations on the periodic channel or annulus. We show that if these flows are laminar (layered by closed non‐contractible streamlines which foliate the domain), then they must be either parallel or circular flows.

Overcoming Cell Fixture Challenges in High‐Pressure Operation of Solid‐State Batteries

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
Accurate application of high uniaxial pressure remains a limiting factor in large‐format solid‐state battery testing. A spring‐loaded fixture employing deflection‐based pressurization enables precise, homogeneous, and reproducible pressure application without expensive in‐fixture sensors, providing a robust framework for systematic investigation of ...

TWITCH AMPLITUDE AFTER THREE REPETITIONS OF EXHAUSTING ISOMETRIC CONTRACTIONS AT DIFFERENT STARTING INTENSITIES DOES NOT CHANGE [PDF]

open access: yesSport Mont, 2010
The amplitude of a twitch presents one of the measures used to evaluate peripheral muscle fatigue. The aim of the study was to evaluate peripheral fatigue after the isometric muscle contractions of different starting intensities: at 60 %, 80 % and 100 ...

Sex differences in the functional hamstring to quadriceps ratio and neuromuscular performance [PDF]

open access: yes
Increased relative risk of non-contact anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury has been attributed to numerous biomechanical, anatomical and neuromuscular factors.

Corticospinal and spinal responses and adaptations from shortening and lengthening resistance training and subsequent detraining [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Maximising strength and neurological adaptations to resistance training has long been sought to improve athletic performance and enhance clinical rehabilitation functional outcomes.

Low‐Concentration Dopamine Potentiates Gastric Motility Through Activation of Dopamine D5 Receptor on Enteric Cholinergic Neurons

open access: yesGut Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Dopamine (DA) exerts complex concentration‐dependent effects on gastrointestinal motility. Although its inhibitory action through D2‐like receptors is well‐established, the mechanisms underlying its excitatory effects remain elusive.

Stable Cuts, NAC‐Colourings and Flexible Realisations of Graphs

open access: yesJournal of Graph Theory, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A (2‐dimensional) realisation of a graph G $G$ is a pair ( G , p ) $(G,p)$, where p $p$ maps the vertices of G $G$ to R 2 ${{\mathbb{R}}}^{2}$. A realisation is flexible if it can be continuously deformed while keeping the edge lengths fixed, and rigid otherwise.
