Notes on Non-Generic Isomonodromy Deformations [PDF]
Some of the main results of [Cotti G., Dubrovin B., Guzzetti D., Duke Math. J., to appear, arXiv:1706.04808], concerning non-generic isomonodromy deformations of a certain linear differential system with irregular singularity and coalescing eigenvalues, are reviewed from the point of view of Pfaffian systems, making a distinction between weak and ...

Isomonodromy for the Degenerate Fifth Painlevé Equation [PDF]
This is a sequel to papers by the last two authors making the Riemann-Hilbert correspondence and isomonodromy explicit. For the degenerate fifth Painlevé equation, the moduli spaces for connections and for monodromy are explicitly computed. It is proven that the extended Riemann-Hilbert morphism is an isomorphism.

Topology of Irregular Isomonodromy Times on a Fixed Pointed Curve [PDF]
Abstract We will define and study moduli spaces of deformations of irregular classes on Riemann surfaces, which provide an intrinsic viewpoint on the ‘times’ of irregular isomonodromy systems in general. Our aim is to study the deeper generalisation of the G-braid groups that occur as fundamental groups of such deformation spaces, with ...

τ-function of discrete isomonodromy transformations and probability [PDF]
Abstract We introduce the τ -function of a difference rational connection (d-connection) and its isomonodromy transformations. We show that in a continuous limit our τ -function agrees with the Jimbo–Miwa–Ueno τ

Isomonodromy problems and Painleve Hierarchies [PDF]
In this thesis we show that the expansion of linear problems of the Painlev´e equation in powers of the spectral variable can be used to derive hierarchies of ordinary differential equations. We study the derivation of the first and second Painlev´e hierarchy from scalar isomonodromy problems. Moreover, we will give some special solutions of the second

Antiquantization, isomonodromy, and integrability
An extended analysis of links between linear differential equations and the nonlinear Painlevé equation PV I is given. For linear equations, second-order equations in different forms, as well as various first-order systems, are chosen. The role of an accessory parameter is explained. The relationship to the Schlesinger system is made clear.

Simply-laced isomonodromy systems [PDF]
A new class of isomonodromy equations will be introduced and shown to admit Kac–Moody Weyl group symmetries. This puts into a general context some results of Okamoto on the 4th, 5th and 6th Painlevé equations, and shows where such Kac–Moody Weyl groups and root systems occur “in nature”.

Quasinormal modes of a Proca field in Schwarzschild-AdS5 spacetime via the isomonodromy method
We consider Proca field perturbations in a five-dimensional Schwarzschild-anti-de Sitter (Schwarzschild-AdS5) black hole geometry. Using the vector spherical harmonic (VSH) method, we show that the Proca field decomposes into scalar-type and vector-type ...
