Real Forms of Contragredient Lie Superalgebras with Isomorphic Even Parts

open access: yesJournal of Lie Theory, 2019
Summary: We study how the real forms \(\mathfrak g\) of contragredient Lie superalgebras are determined by their even parts. We prove that if the even parts of \(\mathfrak g\) and \(\mathfrak g'\) are inner isomorphic, then \(\mathfrak g\) and \(\mathfrak g'\) are inner isomorphic.

Generating isomorphous heavy-atom derivatives by a quick-soak method. Part I: test cases

Acta Crystallographica Section D Biological Crystallography, 2002
Screening for heavy-atom derivatives remains a time-consuming and cumbersome process that often results in non-isomorphous derivatives whose phases cannot be combined. Using lysozyme and FcgammaRIII receptor crystals as test cases, an improved soaking method for the generation of conventional heavy-atom derivatives has been developed.

Which four-part partition games are isomorphic to Silverman's game?

European Journal of Operational Research, 2002
The author considers the four-part partition zero-sum two-person game \(\Gamma\) described by the following: The sets \(S_1\) and \(S_2\) of the players' pure strategies are intervals in \([0, \infty)\). The rectangle \(S_1\times S_2\) is divided into four parts by three increasing curves \(f_1(x)

Generation of chemical potentials by analysis of phase diagrams Part II: Isomorphous systems

Materials Science and Engineering, 1969
Abstract A method that has previously been presented for the determination of the thermodynamic properties of alloys from phase equilibria data 1 is improved and applied to three binary isomorphous systems: AgAu, BiSb and GeSi. Excellent agreement with experimental data (when available) is shown in all cases.

When is a centralizer near-ring isomorphic to a matrix near-ring? Part 2

2001
Let G be a finite group and A a group of automorphisms of G. It is always the case that for every integer n ≥ 2 the matrix near-ring \( \mathbb{M}_n \)(M A (G);G) is a subnear-ring of the centralizer near-ring M A (G n ). We find conditions such that \( \mathbb{M}_n \)(M A (G);G) is a proper subset of M A (G n ).

Two-component systems of isomorphous orientationally disordered crystals. Part 2 Thermodynamic analysis

Journal of Materials Chemistry, 1999
A thermodynamic analysis was made of a set of two-component systems displaying isomorphous orientationally disordered phases (ODIC). The pure compounds are molecular materials belonging to the series (CH 3 ) 4– n1 C(CH 2 OH) n1 (n 1 =1, 2, 3), (NO 2 )(CH 3 ) 3– n2 C(CH 2 OH) n2

Generating isomorphous heavy-atom derivatives by a quick-soak method. Part II: phasing of new structures

Acta Crystallographica Section D Biological Crystallography, 2002
A quick-soak method has been applied to generate de novo heavy-atom phasing to solve two new protein structures, a type II transforming growth factor beta receptor (TBRII) and a natural killer cell receptor-ligand complex, NKG2D-ULBP3. In the case of TBRII, a crystal derivatized for only 10 min in saturated HgCl(2) provided adequate phasing for ...
