Morphometric discrimination between females of two isomorphic sand fly species, Phlebotomus caucasicus and Phlebotomus mongolensis (Diptera: Phlebotominae) in endemic and non-endemic foci of zoonotic cutaneous leishmaniasis in Iran

open access: yesAsian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine, 2019
Objective: To delineate reliable morphological characteristics for identifying and separating female Phlebotomus caucasicus and Phlebotomus mongolensis which exist sympatrically in the main foci of zoonotic cutaneous leishmaniasis in Iran.

Quantum soundness of testing tensor codes

open access: yesDiscrete Analysis, 2022
Quantum soundness of testing tensor codes, Discrete Analysis 2022:17, 73 pp. This paper proves an essential component of a major recent result in complexity theory, known as the MIP*=RE theorem, which was proved by the same authors.

Every graph is an induced isopart of a circulant [PDF]

open access: yes, 1978
An isomorphic factorisation of a digraph D is a partition of its arcs into mutually isomorphic subgraphs. If such a factorisation of D into exactly t parts exists, then t must divide the number of arcs in D. This is called the divisibility condition.

Hypergraphs with infinitely many extremal constructions

open access: yesDiscrete Analysis, 2023
Hypergraphs with infinitely many extremal constructions, Discrete Analysis 2023:18, 34 pp. A fundamental result in extremal graph theory, Turán's theorem, states that the maximal number of edges of a graph with $n$ vertices that does not contain a ...

Sylow like theorems for V(ZG) [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Group Theory, 2015
The main part of this article is a survey on torsion subgroups of the unit group of an integral group ring. It contains the major parts of my talk given at the conference "Groups, Group Rings and Related Topics" at UAEU in AlAin October 2013.

On Markovian cocycle perturbations in classical and quantum probability

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2003
We introduce Markovian cocycle perturbations of the groups of transformations associated with classical and quantum stochastic processes with stationary increments, which are characterized by a localization of the perturbation to the algebra of events ...

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Some non-isomorphic (4t + 4, 8t + 6, 4t + 3, 2t + 2, 2t + 1)- BIBD's

open access: yes, 1991
In this paper the automorphism groups of parts of the (4t + 3, 2t + 1, t)-BIBD's are studied in order to show that these designs can be used to construct a great many non-isomorphic (4t + 4, 8t + 6, 4t + 3, 2t + 2, 2t + 1)-BIBD's if certain conditions ...
