S=−1 meson-baryon interaction and the role of isospin filtering processes [PDF]
A study of the meson-baryon interaction in the $S=-1$ sector is performed, employing a chiral SU(3) lagrangian up to next-to-leading order (NLO) and implementing unitarization in coupled channels.

Lorentz transformations are central to relativistic mechanics, explaining phenomena such as the mass–energy relationship, spatial contraction, momentum transformation, velocity addition, and the geometric structure of Minkowski space‐time. While traditionally derived for motion along a single spatial axis, these transformations can be generalized to ...

Update on Light WIMP Limits: LUX, lite and Light
We reexamine the current direct dark matter data including the recent CDMSlite and LUX data, assuming that the dark matter consists of light WIMPs, with mass close to 10 GeV/$c^2$ with spin-independent and isospin-conserving or isospin-violating ...

Study of Semileptonic B⟶DPℓ+νℓ Decays Based on the SU(3) Flavor Symmetry
Decays B⟶DPℓ+νℓ(ℓ = e, μ, τ) with the nonresonance, the charmed vector resonances, the charmed scalar resonances, and the charmed tensor resonances are explored by using the SU(3) flavor symmetry approach. Firstly, the decay amplitudes of different modes are related by the SU(3) flavor symmetry.

To understand the role of isospin effects on fragmentation due to the collisions of charge asymmetric nuclei, we have performed a complete systematical study using isospin dependent quantum molecular dynamics model. Here simulations have been carried out

Isospin splittings in baryons with two heavy quarks [PDF]
Isospin splittings in baryons with two heavy quarks and a $u$ or $d$ quark are calculated using simple methods proposed previously by the authors. The results are $M(\Xi_{cc}^{++})-M(\Xi_{cc}^+) = 1.41 \pm 0.12^{+0.76}$ MeV, $M(\Xi_{bb}^0) - M(\Xi_{bb}^

In the Skyrme model atomic nuclei are modelled as quantized soliton solutions in a nonlinear field theory of pions. The mass number is given by the conserved topological charge $B$ of the solitons. Conventionally, Skyrmions are semiclassically quantized within the rigid body approach.

We pursue the calculation of the model-independent component of the axion-photon-photon coupling in the U(3) chiral perturbation theory up to next-to-leading order, with the emphasis on the isospin breaking effect.
