Rotation of Crystal Seed During Early Stages of Growth Reveals the Anisotropy of Glass Matrix

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Molecular dynamics simulations reveal that crystal seeds can spontaneously rotate within glass at high temperatures due to anisotropic forces at the glass‐crystal interface. This rotation challenges the long‐held view of glass as an isotropic solid and highlights how atomic‐scale inhomogeneities can influence crystal growth and microstructure of LiNbO3‐

Modelling Crystalline α-Mg Phase Growth in an Amorphous Alloy Mg72Zn28

open access: yesApplied Sciences
A model of α-Mg grain growth in an amorphous Mg72Zn28 alloy matrix was developed together with numerical software. Its application enables tracking the growth process of the α-Mg phase in an amorphous alloy.

PET Imaging of Cardiac Inflammation in Viral Myocarditis Using a DPP4‐Targeted Probe

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study describes a DPP4‐targeted PET probe for imaging myocardial inflammation by selectively targeting activated immune cells. Derived from the clinically approved small‐molecule inhibitor linagliptin, the probe demonstrates favorable biodistribution with specific cardiac uptake in myocarditis.

Thermal Stability of Ultrafine Grained Pure Copper Prepared by Large Strain Extrusion Machining

open access: yesMetals, 2018
Ultrafine grained (UFG) pure copper chips with improved material strength have been successfully prepared by large strain extrusion machining (LSEM). However, the thermal stability of the UFG chips has been a key characteristic that has restricted their ...

Multi‐Enzyme Mimetic Molybdenum Nitride Nanozymes Reshape Subgingival Microenvironment for Synergistic Periodontitis Therapy via ROS Regulation and Microbiome Remodeling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Periodontitis, a chronic inflammatory disease initiated and sustained by plaque microorganisms and host immune response, remains an intractable oral disease and a leading cause of tooth loss worldwide. Traditional mechanical debridement and adjunctive antibiotic or antiseptic therapy often shows limited efficacy due to the complex anatomical ...

Enzymatic DNA Reaction Networks for Orchestrating Stimuli‐Dependent Temporal Molecular Pulse

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We present an enzymatic DNA reaction network (EDRN) that encodes nucleic‐acid targets in time, converting inputs into a universal strand and then into programmable transient fluorescence pulses. With time‐color multiplexing, EDRN enables single‐tube high‐plex nucleic acid detection and shows strong agreement with clinical sequencing across 32 specimens.
