Inverse‐Designed Superchiral Hot Spot in Dielectric Meta‐Cavity Toward Ultra‐Compact Enantioselective Detection

Linearly polarized incident light with normal incidence creates enhanced optical chirality hotspots on the metasurface. Several orders of magnitude optical chirality enhancement offers a promising route toward highly sensitive, compact chiral spectroscopy.

Multiple Scattering Model for the Coherent Optical Response of Correlated Disordered Plasmonic Metasurfaces

Disordered plasmonic metasurfaces enable advanced control over light scattering through disorder engineering. A theoretical model based on multiple scattering theory is developed to predict the coherent reflection and transmission of light from disordered metasurfaces with arbitrary pair correlations.

Massively Degenerate Coherent Perfect Absorption in Gradient‐Index Fibers

A coherent perfect absorber (CPA) normally operates for only one or very few spatial modes. The CPA proposed here uses a gradient‐index (GRIN) fiber to absorb hundreds of spatial modes at once, its self‐imaging property replacing the bulky free‐space degenerate cavity of earlier designs. An analytic criterion sets how much modal degeneracy is required,
