The genus of Kodaianella Fennah, 1956 (Hemiptera: Fulgoromorpha: Issidae: Issini), containing three species: K. bicinctifrons Fennah, 1956 (Guizhou: Congjiang, Xishui, Yanhe; Sichuan: Kangding), K. macheta sp. nov. (Guizhou: Guiyang; Henan: Huixian) and K. longispina sp. nov. (Yunnan: Dali, Baoshan), is here studied. All species are restricted to China.

The Oriental planthopper genus Gelastyrella Yang is reviewed. Two new species, G.. hainanensis Ran et Liang, sp. nov. (China: Hainan) and G.. yunnanensis Ran et Liang, sp. nov. (China: Yunnan), are described and illustrated. A key to the species of the genus is provided.

A new tribe of the family Issidae (Hemiptera: Fulgoroidea) from southern India

A new tribe, Kodaianini trib. nov., is erected in the subfamily Issinae Spinola, 1839 to accommodate Oriental monotypic genus Kodaiana Distant, 1916. The type species of the genus, Kodaiana campbelli Distant, 1916, is redescribed and recorded for the first time from Karnataka State of India.
