Prostate Cancer Patient‐Derived Organoids (PDOs) as Functional Avatars for Antisense Oligonucleotide (ASO)‐Based Personalized Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Prostate patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) were established from TURP and biopsy specimens with >90% success and retain key features of their tissues of origin, making them functional avatars for antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) therapy . Transfecting single cells outside the Matrigel matrix and then reconstituting organoids overcomes the 3D delivery ...

A Multidirectional Textile Interface for Remote Control Using Dynamic Area‐Based Capacitance Modulation

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Here, we present a textile, wearable capacitive interface enabling multidirectional remote control by dynamically modulating electrode overlap and spacing via a freely gliding upper electrode. A forearm‐mounted prototype drives robotic and media tasks with 12–15 ms latency, maintains < 0.8% drift after 500 cycles, and remains stably functional at 90 ...

Insect (Coleoptera and Orthoptera) species of Istanbul in the Zoology Collection of Istanbul University

open access: yesTurkish Journal of Bioscience and Collections, 2017
Zoology Collection of Istanbul University has a unique position among other institutional collections found in Turkey. This collection has very oldest insect specimens recorded from Turkey and especially from all around Istanbul. Actually the collection owes this uniqueness to a hobbyist, Bernard Tubini. His personal collection which contains specimens

Rab1A Promotes Hepatic Steatosis by Suppressing Mitophagy via the Raf‐1/ERK1/2/PINK1 Signaling Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Why does fat accumulate in the liver? Our study reveals Rab1A as the molecular switch that silences the cell's mitochondrial cleanup crew. Turning Rab1A off reactivates mitophagy, clears excess fat, and reverses fatty liver disease in mice—offering a promising new therapeutic target for MASLD, a growing global health challenge.

Soft Hypoxia‐Adaptive Bioelectronics Integrating PEDOT:PSS/Polydopamine/Enzyme Biocomposites for Closed‐Loop Therapeutics of Chronic Wounds

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Hypoxia‐adaptive bioelectronics based on poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS)/polydopamine (PDA)/enzyme biocomposites couple O2‐centric biosensing with embedded O2 therapy to address oxygen‐deficient chronic wounds. Local O2 provision restores enzyme‐based metabolite sensing, while catalase‐mediated oxygen generation and
