The Parodis After Italian Unification
2020This final chapter discusses the role of private bankers in the development of credit and financial systems in the first decades of Italian unification. To this end, the chapter presents the case of the Parodi Bank of Genoa, whose role was very important thanks to its connections to national and international financial networks.
