A systematic review of quality of life and health‐related quality of life as outcomes in substance and behavioural addictions

open access: yesDrug and Alcohol Review, Volume 42, Issue 7, Page 1680-1700, November 2023., 2023
Abstract Issues Consideration of an individual's quality of life (QoL) can benefit assessment and treatment of addictive disorders, however, uncertainty remains over operationalisation of the construct as an outcome and the appropriateness of existing measures for these populations.

Structure and Phase Behavior of Interpolyelectrolyte Complexes of PDADMAC and Hydrophobically Modified PAA (HM‐PAA)

open access: yesMacromolecular Chemistry and Physics, Volume 224, Issue 1, January 2023., 2023
Interpolyelectrolyte complexes (IPECs) of PDADMAC are formed with normal and hydrophobically modified PAA. This modification leads to the formation of much larger complexes with an internal substructuring. SANS yields a detailed structural description of the aggregates, which on a nm‐level are cylindrical.

A laboratory for conceiving Essential Biodiversity Variables (EBVs)—The ‘Data pool initiative for the Bohemian Forest Ecosystem’

open access: yesMethods in Ecology and Evolution, Volume 12, Issue 11, Page 2073-2083, November 2021., 2021
Abstract Effects of climate change‐induced events on forest ecosystem dynamics of composition, function and structure call for increased long‐term, interdisciplinary and integrated research on biodiversity indicators, in particular within strictly protected areas with extensive non‐intervention zones.

Metal‐Terpyridine Complexes in Catalytic Application – A Spotlight on the Last Decade

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 12, Issue 11, Page 2890-2941, June 5, 2020., 2020
Old terps, new tricks: Metal complexes with terpyridine (tpy) ligands have found application in various fields of research, catalysis represents a notable example in this respect. A wide range of organic reactions are catalyzed by such complexes, homogeneous as well as heterogeneous ones. Furthermore, the CO2 reduction and the artificial photosynthesis

Atomistic modelling of scattering data in the Collaborative Computational Project for Small Angle Scattering (CCP‐SAS)

open access: yesJournal of Applied Crystallography, Volume 49, Issue 6, Page 1861-1875, December 2016., 2016
The CCP‐SAS project is currently developing software for the atomistic and coarse‐grained molecular modelling of X‐ray and neutron small‐angle scattering data. Its computational framework is described, alongside applications in biology and soft matter. The capabilities of current computer simulations provide a unique opportunity to model small‐angle ...
