Making the most of hard‐won data: Incorporating commonly discarded information from unidentifiable samples improves precision and cost‐effectiveness in wolf population monitoring

open access: yesJournal of Applied Ecology, Volume 63, Issue 6, June 2026.
RT‐SCR provides a principled and cost‐effective way to recover information from samples that are usually discarded, improving both precision and the reliability of parameter estimates without extra field or laboratory investment. Gains were strongest for shared ecological parameters, including detection, space use and habitat associations, and are ...

Imaging and physiology across the high–low cerebrospinal fluid pressure spectrum: Navigating diagnostic uncertainty in headache practice

open access: yesHeadache: The Journal of Head and Face Pain, Volume 66, Issue 6, Page 1405-1418, June 2026.
Abstract Objective This study was conducted to provide a clinically oriented, mechanism‐based framework for interpreting neuroimaging across disorders of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) pressure, with particular emphasis on patients who fall between classic diagnostic categories of spontaneous intracranial hypotension (SIH) and idiopathic intracranial ...

First tungsten radiation studies in DIII-D’s ITER baseline demonstration discharges

open access: yesNuclear Fusion
ITER Baseline Scenario plasmas were studied in DIII-D using krypton and xenon gases as a proxy for the tungsten that will be present in ITER. These impurities were chosen for having the same radiative loss rate Lz as tungsten would exhibit in the hotter ...

An electric spring with an extended range of operation and current filtering capability for SEIG-based isolated system

open access: yesScientific Reports
This work proposes an electric spring (ES) based on a back-to-back converter. The proposed electric spring is used for voltage control in a self-excited induction generator (SEIG)-based isolated system.

Iterative Monomorphisation

open access: yes
Abstract Monomorphisation can be used to extend monomorphic provers to support polymorphic logics. We describe a pragmatic iterative approach. We implemented it in the Zipperposition prover, where it is used to translate away polymorphism before invoking the monomorphic prover E as a backend.
