A Practical Tool for Visualizing and Measuring Model Selection Uncertainty
ABSTRACT Accounting for uncertainty in model selection is crucial for statistical inference and data‐driven decision‐making, particularly with high‐dimensional data. While multiple studies have focused on constructing model confidence sets, a practical and informative visualization tool to assist in decision‐making under such uncertainty has been ...

ABSTRACT In this paper, we propose a new parametric family of iterative schemes to compute the inverse of a complex nonsingular matrix. It is shown that the members of this family have at least a fourth order of convergence. A particular element of the class is extended to approximate the Moore–Penrose inverse of rectangular complex matrices, keeping ...

In this work, we modify the iterative structure of Traub's method to include a real parameter α$$ \alpha $$. A parametric family of iterative methods is obtained as a generalization of Traub, which is also a member of it. The cubic order of convergence is proved for any value of α$$ \alpha $$.
