Existence of Picard operator and iterated function system
In this paper, we define weak θm− contraction mappings and give a new class of Picard operators for such class of mappings on a complete metric space. Also, we obtain some new results on the existence and uniqueness of attractor for a weak θm− iterated ...

ABSTRACT Background Despite their increased risk for functional impairment resulting from cancer and its treatments, few adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with a hematological malignancy receive the recommended or therapeutic dose of exercise per week during inpatient hospitalizations.

In this study, we present the structure of AcrIE8.1, a previously uncharacterized anti‐CRISPR protein that inhibits the type I‐E CRISPR‐Cas system. Through a combination of structural and biochemical analyses, we demonstrate that AcrIE8.1 directly binds to the Cas11 subunit of the Cascade complex to inhibit the CRISPR‐Cas system.

In this manuscript, we present the classical Hutchinson–Barnsley theory on the product neutrosophic fractal spaces by utilizing an iterated function system, which is enclosed by neutrosophic Edelstein contractions and a finite number of neutrosophic b ...

The Caenorhabditis elegans DPF‐3 and human DPP4 have tripeptidyl peptidase activity
The dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPPIV) family comprises serine proteases classically defined by their ability to remove dipeptides from the N‐termini of substrates, a feature that gave the family its name. Here, we report the discovery of a previously unrecognized tripeptidyl peptidase activity in DPPIV family members from two different species.

Mean chain transitivity and almost mean shadowing property of iterated function systems
In this paper, we introduce the notions of mean chain transitivity, mean chain mixing, totally mean chain transitivity, and almost mean shadowing property to iterated function systems (IFS). We study the interrelations of these notions.

Peptide‐based ligand antagonists block a Vibrio cholerae adhesin
The structure of a peptide‐binding domain of the Vibrio cholerae adhesin FrhA was solved by X‐ray crystallography, revealing how the inhibitory peptide AGYTD binds tightly at its Ca2+‐coordinated pocket. Structure‐guided design incorporating D‐amino acids enhanced binding affinity, providing a foundation for developing anti‐adhesion therapeutics ...

On iterated function systems with inverses
In this article we consider iterated function systems that contain inverse maps, which we call IFS with inverses. We show that the invariant measures for IFS with inverses agree with the invariant measures for associated graph-directed IFS under the ...

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

Asymptotics of Divide-And-Conquer Recurrences Via Iterated Function Systems [PDF]
Let $k≥2$ be a fixed integer. Given a bounded sequence of real numbers $(a_n:n≥k)$, then for any sequence $(f_n:n≥1)$ of real numbers satisfying the divide-and-conquer recurrence $f_n = (k-mod(n,k))f_⌊n/k⌋+mod(n,k)f_⌈n/k⌉ + a_n, n ≥k$, there is a unique ...
