Detecting proteins secreted by a single cell while retaining its viability remains challenging. A particles‐in‐particle (PiPs) system made by co‐encapsulating barcoded microparticles (BMPs) with a single cell inside an alginate hydrogel particle is introduced.

A Survey on the Integral Means Spectrum for Conformal Mappings [PDF]
The present survey is devoted to the description of the results about estimates of the integral means in various classes of analytic functions. Great importance is given to the boundary properties of conformal mappings.

Screen gate‐based transistors are presented, enabling tunable analog sigmoid and Gaussian activations. The SA‐transistor improves MRI classification accuracy, while the GA‐transistor supports precise Gaussian kernel tuning for forecasting. Both functions are implemented in a single device, offering compact, energy‐efficient analog AI processing ...

On the Law of the Iterated Logarithm
A triumvirate of sufficient conditions is given for unbounded, independent random variables to obey the Law of the Iterated Logarithm (LIL). As special cases, new results for weighted i.i.d. random variables and the Hartman-Wintner theorem are obtained.

Gamma Kernel Estimators for Density and Hazard Rate of Right-Censored Data
The nonparametric estimation for the density and hazard rate functions for right-censored data using the kernel smoothing techniques is considered. The “classical” fixed symmetric kernel type estimator of these functions performs well in the interior ...
