Convergence of the Iterative Hammerstein System Identification Algorithm

IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 2004
The convergence of the iterative identification algorithm for the Hammerstein system has been an open problem for a long time. In this paper, a detailed study is carried out and various convergence properties of the iterative algorithm are derived. It is shown that the iterative algorithm with normalization is convergent in general.

Iterative Learning Identification/Iterative Learning Control for Linear Time-Varying Systems

Journal of Dynamic Systems, Measurement, and Control, 2016
This paper integrates a previously developed iterative learning identification (ILI) (Liu, N., and Alleyne, A. G., 2016, “Iterative Learning Identification for Linear Time-Varying Systems,” IEEE Trans. Control Syst. Technol., 24(1), pp. 310–317) and iterative learning control (ILC) algorithms (Bristow, D. A., Tharayil, M., and Alleyne, A.

Time-varying norm optimal iterative learning identification

2013 American Control Conference, 2013
In this paper, we focus on improving the performance of an Iterative Learning Identification (ILI) algorithm for identifying discrete, Single-Input Single-Output (SISO), Linear Time- Varying (LTV) plants that are able to repeat their trajectories. The identification learning laws are determined through an optimization framework, which is similar in ...

An Adaptive Iterative Algorthm for System Identification

2010 Third International Conference on Intelligent Networks and Intelligent Systems, 2010
According to the nonlinear amplification characteristic with memory effection of power amplifier (PA) inWCDMA systems, digital predistorter model is established and an identification algorithm for Wiener PA model with memoryis proposed. The method can avoid the local convergence problem of NG algorithm effectively.

Iterative approach for gas detection and identification

2010 IEEE 26-th Convention of Electrical and Electronics Engineers in Israel, 2010
An iterative algorithm which identifies the presence of different gases throughout a hyperspectral cube was developed and tested. The algorithm uses the “stepwise regression” method combined with new methods of detection and identification in the hyperspectral cube's analysis.

Iterative pole placement based on indirect identification

Proceedings of the 38th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (Cat. No.99CH36304), 2003
A pole placement iterative controller design procedure is analyzed. It is based on indirect plant identification and the solution of two Diophantine equations. The first Diophantine equation is used to extract the plant model from the closed loop estimate. The second one is used to make a one-step-ahead pole placement allocation.

Person Re-identification by Cascade-Iterative Ranking

2014
State-of-the-art methods on person re-identification usually match the probe set against the candidates in gallery set without the reversed matching process. The one-way methods may not obtain the correct corresponding result by using the limited information in gallery set.
