Projection process modelling for iterative reconstruction of Pinhole SPECT

open access: yes, 2014
In iterative reconstruction of pinhole SPECT data, the forward and back projection processes are often performed using the ray tracing method. Ray tracing is computationally efficient, but it has the drawback of poor reconstruction quality due to the ...

High‐Throughput Digital Decoding of Vascular Heterogeneity in Patient‐Specific Tumor Microenvironments

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Quantitative characterization of vascular heterogeneity in complex microphysiological systems (MPS), particularly within patient‐derived tumor microenvironments, remains a major challenge for scalable disease modeling and therapeutic evaluation.

Nonlinear phase retrieval using projection operator and iterative wavelet thresholding

open access: yes, 2012
International audienceWith hard X-rays synchrotron beams, phase contrast can be obtained with the measurement of the Fresnel diffraction intensity patterns associated to a phase shift induced by the object.

Affinity‐Tuned Albumin Hitchhiking Extends the Bioorthogonal Capture Window in Pretargeting Radiotheranostics

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Pharmacokinetic engineering of clickable radioligands was achieved via albumin hitchhiking approach within a pretargeted radiotheranostics delivery platform. This approach reduced rapid renal elimination, expanded bioorthogonal capture window, boosted tumor uptake by ∼3.5‐fold, and improved the tumor‐to‐liver ratio by ∼6‐fold.

Strong convergence theorems by hybrid and shrinking projection methods for sums of two monotone operators

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2017
In this paper, we introduce two iterative algorithms for finding the solution of the sum of two monotone operators by using hybrid projection methods and shrinking projection methods.

A hybrid 3d reconstruction/registration algorithm for correction of head motion in emission tomography

open access: yes, 2000
Even with head restraint, small head movements can occur during data acquisition for emission tomography, sufficiently large to result in detectable artifacts in the final reconstruction.

Plasmonic Enhancement of Fluorescence and Protein Dynamics in Living Mammalian Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates plasmonic enhancement of the function of fluorescent voltage sensing proteins (genetically encoded voltage indicators, (GEVIs), QuasAr6) in live mammalian cells. Coupling to plasmonic nanoparticles does not just increase fluorescence, but influences the protein photocycle, creating a hybrid sensor with its response speed to ...

Refined saddle-point preconditioners for discretized Stokes problems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
This paper is concerned with the implementation of efficient solution algorithms for elliptic problems with constraints. We establish theory which shows that including a simple scaling within well-established block diagonal preconditioners for Stokes ...
