Fast GPU-Based Approach to Branchless Distance-Driven Projection and Back-Projection in Cone Beam CT

open access: yes, 2015
Modern CT image reconstruction algorithms rely on projection and back-projection operations to refine an image estimate in iterative image reconstruction. A widely-used state-of-the-art technique is distance-driven projection and back-projection.

Mapping the “Supply–Demand–Flow” of Ecosystem Services for Ecosystem Management in China

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study develops a “supply–demand–flow” framework clarifies how ecosystem services move between regions by distinguishing potential and actual supply and demand. Using integrated biophysical–socioeconomic modeling, nine services in China were mapped.

Iterative Thresholding and Projection Algorithms and Model-Based Deep Neural Networks for Sparse LQR Control Design

open access: yes
In this paper, we consider an LQR design problem for distributed control systems. For large-scale distributed systems, finding a solution might be computationally demanding due to communications among agents.

Chaotic Iterative Algorithms for Image Reconstruction from Incomplete Projection Data

open access: yes, 2008
The problem of computer tomography is considered from incomplete projection data with chaotic algorithms for some particular systems of reconstruction. The numerical reconstruction algorithms and numerical simulation results are presented for a number of

The Development and Pilot Clinical Study of CD147 Targeted Antagonistic Peptide Probe for Tumor Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study establishes [68Ga]Ga‐DOTA‐AP9 as a first‐in‐human CD147‐targeted PET tracer with favorable safety and specific tumor uptake. Tracer accumulation correlates with CD147 expression in patients, enabling noninvasive quantification of CD147‐positive malignancies.

Parallel iterative algorithms for large sparse linear systems

open access: yes, 2009
Numerical handling of partial differential equations (PDEs) plays a crucial role in modeling physical processes. It involves discretization of these PDEs using for example finite difference or finite element methods and often requires the solution of ...
