The Multiple Sclerosis Severity Allele rs10191329A and Cognitive Function: A UK Biobank Study
ABSTRACT The genome‐wide association study of Multiple Sclerosis severity linked the genetic variant rs10191329A to long‐term disability and implicated brain resilience as a determinant of outcome. We hypothesised that rs10191329A might influence cognition in other neurological diseases and healthy controls.

Live Iterative Ptychography with projection-based algorithms
In this work, we demonstrate that the ptychographic phase problem can be solved in a live fashion during scanning, while data is still being collected. We propose a generally applicable modification of the widespread projection-based algorithms such as ...

A Two-Step Projected Iterative Algorithm for Tropospheric Water Vapor Tomography
The tropospheric tomography is an ill-posed inversion problem due to the sparsity of global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) stations and the limitation on the projection angles of GNSS signals, which in turn affects the stability and robustness of the tomographic solution.

Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for

A method with inertial extrapolation step for convex constrained monotone equations
In recent times, various algorithms have been incorporated with the inertial extrapolation step to speed up the convergence of the sequence generated by these algorithms.

A unified research data management framework for heterogeneous materials data is presented. The system integrates multimodal datasets using ontologies and knowledge graphs, enabling interoperability and FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable) data principles. By linking data across scales and workflows, it supports reproducible, Artifitial

Iterative projection algorithms for solving inverse problems [PDF]
Inverse problems abound in the ocean sciences, as they do in almost every area of science and technology. Solutions to inverse problems are notoriously difficult, computationally expensive, and noise sensitive.
