Global scheme for iterative mojette reconstructions

2014 IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP), 2014
In this paper, we develop a global iterative algorithm for tomographic reconstructions from Mojette projections. Since Spline-Mojette projections are obtained by convolving Dirac-Mojette values with a specific uniform projection kernel, we decorrelate iterative reconstructions from projection model and provide a global scheme available for all Mojette ...

Iterative reconstruction-reprojection in projection space

Proceedings of the IEEE, 1985
An iterative reconstruction-reprojection in projection space (IRRP) algorithm is proposed to eliminate the interpolation errors of iterative reconstruction-reprojection (IRR) algorithm in computed tomography (CT). Through computer simulations, IRRP is shown to have better convergence for the limited view problems.

A nonlocal prior in iterative CT reconstruction

Medical Physics
Abstract Background Computed tomography (CT) reconstruction problems are always framed as inverse problems, where the attenuation map of an imaged object is reconstructed from the sinogram measurement.

Iterative reconstruction algorithm for optoacoustic imaging

The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2002
Optoacoustic imaging is based on the generation of thermoelastic stress waves by heating an object in an optically heterogeneous medium with a short laser pulse. The stress waves contain information about the distribution of structures with preferential optical absorption.

Iterative reconstruction of thyroidal SPECT images

European Journal Of Nuclear Medicine, 1987
First SPECT results using a multiplicative iterative reconstruction algorithm are presented. The superiority of the iterative technique over filtered backprojection is demonstrated in two thyroid SPECT studies. Obvious benefits of the new reconstruction technique are better defined outlines of the imaged organ and patient body as well as negligible ...
