Towards a choreography for IRS-III [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
In this paper we describe our ongoing work in developing a choreog-raphy for IRS-III. IRS-III is a framework and platform for developing WSMO based semantic web services.

Nanodiamond Quantum Sensors for Probing Free Radical Biology

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Free radicals play key roles in cellular signaling and disease but remain difficult to measure in living systems. Nanodiamonds (NDs) with nitrogen‐vacancy (NV) centers enable quantum sensing of local magnetic noise via T₁ relaxometry, providing nondestructive radical detection in living cells.

Una mirada técnica de la naturaleza

open access: yesCuadernos de Geografía de la Universitat de València
Studies of dams require detailed river explorations from the planning phase. This paper analyses El Reconocimiento del río Cabriel [The Reconnaissance of the Cabriel river] (1941) by Luis Janini Cuesta, who was attached to the Confederación Hidrográfica ...

Omnipolar Magnetic Field Detection by Superlattice‐Based Hall Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Magnetic‐field‐induced electronic switching is demonstrated in unit‐cell‐engineered La0.7Sr0.3MnO3–BiFeO3 superlattices. Distinct substrate terminations modify magnetic and transport properties. Hall resistance measurements show omnipolar, hysteretic anomalous Hall switching above the Curie temperature, arising from Fe─Mn interfacial exchange, enabling

Building and exhibition layout: Sainsbury Wing compared with Castelvecchio [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
It has always been thought that there are two dimensions in museum experience: the experience of space which can be distinguished from that of exhibits, as the former is largely non-discursive while the latter is more in the discursive domain. This paper

Ultrasmall Platinum Nanoparticles for Radiation‐Enhanced Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work proposes a nanomedicine‐based strategy to enhance X‐ray radiotherapy for cancer treatment. Ultrasmall Pt‐NPs exhibit catalase‐like activity that may contribute to modulation of the tumor microenvironment and amplify interactions between radiation and biological matter, leading to increased DNA damage.

Furan‐Substituted Phosphine‐Oxide as an Efficient Interfacial Modifier for Wide‐Bandgap Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We report phosphine‐oxide interlayers for wide‐bandgap perovskite solar cells, in which tuned P = O Lewis basicity enables selective passivation of buried NiOx/perovskite interfaces and introduces interfacial dipoles that strengthen the built‐in field.
