FES2014 global ocean tide atlas: design and performance [PDF]
Since the mid-1990s, a series of FES (finite element solution) global ocean tidal atlases has been produced and released with the primary objective to provide altimetry missions with tidal de-aliasing correction at the best possible accuracy. We describe

Thirty Years of Maintaining WGS 84 with GPS
With the release of a new International Terrestrial Reference Frame (ITRF) in April 2022, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) began the process of aligning the World Geodetic System 1984 Terrestrial Reference Frame (WGS 84 TRF) to the ...

The NKG2008 GPS campaign – final transformation results and a new common Nordic reference frame
The NKG 2008 GPS campaign was carried out in September 28 – October 4, 2008. The purpose was to establish a common reference frame in the Nordic- Baltic-Arctic region, and to improve and update the transformations from the latest global ITRF reference ...

Improved modelling for future VLBI contributions to ITRF
The latest realization of the International Terrestrial Reference System, ITRF2020, was released in April 2022.When evaluating this terrestrial reference frame (TRF) , it was found that the scales from VLBI and SRL are in good agreement between 1998 and 2013.75, the difference is about 0.15 ppb.

Definicija, realizacija in vzdrževanje modernih koordinatnih sistemov : Definition, Realization and Maintenance of Modern Coordinate Systmes [PDF]
SI: Prispevek obravnava načela definicije, realizacije in vzdrževanja koordinatnih sistemov. S satelitskimi metodami določanja položaja se je pojavila potreba po enotnem globalnem koordinatnem sistemu, definiranem na podlagi CTRS.

Foliations and webs inducing Galois coverings
We introduce the notion of Galois holomorphic foliation on the complex projective space as that of foliations whose Gauss map is a Galois covering when restricted to an appropriate Zariski open subset. First, we establish general criteria assuring that a

ITRF Densification and Continuous Realization by the IGS [PDF]
The tools and infrastructure are now in place to realize a global, terrestrial, kinematic reference frame with few millimeter precision, which is both spatially dense, and can be reliably updated on a frequent basis (e.g., monthly). A procedure is outlined by which IERS can continuously realize the ITRF using methodology developed by the International ...

Interaction between celestial and terrestrial reference frames and some considerations for the next VLBI-based ICRF [PDF]
In this paper we outline several problems related to the realization of the international celestial and terrestrial reference frames ICRF and ITRF at the millimeter level of accuracy, with emphasis on ICRF issues. The main topics considered are: analysis
