/ʌ/ is a vowel phoneme of kpɔ̍kɷ̀gbɷ̀, a Kru variety of Côte d’Ivoire. This segment has a fairly wide distribution and is a common vowel in this language. It is entirely integrated into the languages’ system of vowel harmony.
