Feasibility of flooding the reactor cavity with liquid gallium coolant for IVR-ERVC strategy

Abstract In this paper, a new approach replacing the ERVC coolant by a liquid metal instead of water is studied to avoid the heat removal limit of CHF during boiling of water. As the flooding material, gallium is used in terms of the melting and boiling points.
