The application of Rigidoporus sp J12 and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia BM in the degradation of batik waste

open access: yesBiosaintifika: Journal of Biology & Biology Education, 2023
The batik industry in Indonesia produces batik waste which pollutes the environment. This waste can be degraded using laccase-producing microorganisms. The microorganisms used in the research were the fungus Rigidoporus sp J12 and the bacteria Stenotrophomonas maltophilia BM.

Fermentable sugars production from lignocellulosic materials hydrolysis by thermophilic enzymes from Bacillus subtilis J12

open access: yesEnergy Procedia, 2017
Abstract Hot spring water and soil samples collected from various locations in Thailand were screened as thermophilic lignocellulase producers. Isolate J12, which showed the highest carboxymethylcellulase (CMCase) activity was selected for further enzymatic characterization. The isolate J12 exhibited both CMCase and xylanase acitvities.

Isolation and characterization of Pseudomonas brassicacearum J12 as an antagonist against Ralstonia solanacearum and identification of its antimicrobial components

open access: yesMicrobiological Research, 2012
A bacterial strain, J12, isolated from the rhizosphere soil of tomato plants strongly inhibited the growth of phytopathogenic bacteria Ralstonia solanacearum. Strain J12 was identified as Pseudomonas brassicacearum based on its 16S rRNA gene sequence.

Genetic Relationship Analysis of Pastor roseus Based on COI and Cytb Gene Sequences. [PDF]

open access: yesEcol Evol
Pastor roseus exhibits exceptionally high mitochondrial diversity (haplotype diversity Hd > 0.94). The AT‐rich nucleotide composition in its COI and Cytb genes enhances energy metabolism efficiency during flight, while high haplotype diversity contributes to population resilience against environmental fluctuations.
