Mortality from cancer and non‐cancer diseases in the Lithuanian cohort of Chernobyl cleanup workers (2001–2020)

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, Volume 158, Issue 6, Page 1498-1506, 15 March 2026.
What's new? Following the Chernobyl disaster, workers were recruited from formerly Soviet‐occupied areas, including Lithuania, to participate in clean‐up efforts. Radiation exposure incurred by workers during these efforts offers a unique opportunity for the study of long‐term health effects.

Screening of Fungi from Oil Palm Rhizosphere in Peat Soils and the Potential as Biological Agents against Ganoderma boninense

open access: yesIndonesian Journal of Agricultural Research, 2019
One of the diseases that attack oil palm plants is stem rot disease. Control efforts that can be done is to use rhizosphere fungi from oil palm plants in peat soils.

Intimate relationship communication, knowledge and relationship satisfaction in entrepreneurial success—the mediating role of self-efficacy and achievement motivation

open access: yesJournal of Innovation & Knowledge
The purpose of this study was to investigate the mechanisms through which intimate relationships influence the business achievements of both men and women. The study involved 400 Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) entrepreneurs (177 women and 223 men) in

Quantum tetrahedra and simplicial spin networks

open access: yes, 1998
A new link between tetrahedra and the group SU(2) is pointed out: by associating to each face of a tetrahedron an irreducible unitary SU(2) representation and by imposing that the faces close, the concept of quantum tetrahedron is seen to emerge.

Reducing data processing effort in camera trap density estimation: Extending the REST model by explicitly modelling animal detection processes

open access: yesMethods in Ecology and Evolution, Volume 17, Issue 3, Page 850-862, March 2026.
Abstract Accurate and reliable estimation of wildlife population density is fundamental to effective conservation and management. While camera traps show potential for monitoring ground‐dwelling mammal densities, labour‐intensive data processing remains a significant constraint. Ideally, conservation efforts would benefit from the continuous monitoring

Asymptotics of Wigner 3nj-symbols with Small and Large Angular Momenta: an Elementary Method

open access: yes, 2011
Yu and Littlejohn recently studied in arXiv:1104.1499 some asymptotics of Wigner symbols with some small and large angular momenta. They found that in this regime the essential information is captured by the geometry of a tetrahedron, and gave new ...

Substitution of Fe3+ into anorthite in oxidized, Al‐deficient ferrobasaltic systems with implications for the petrogenesis of angrite meteorites

open access: yesMeteoritics &Planetary Science, Volume 61, Issue 3, Page 427-443, March 2026.
Abstract Angrite meteorites are critically silica‐undersaturated igneous rocks with high Ca/Al and Fe/Mg, along with depletion in volatile lithophile elements Na and K such that they crystallize anorthite along with olivine and calcic pyroxene. The anorthite in angrites contains substantial Fe, and in NWA 1670 and NWA 1296, it is present at major ...

Quantum groups, Yang-Baxter maps and quasi-determinants

open access: yes, 2017
For any quasi-triangular Hopf algebra, there exists the universal R-matrix, which satisfies the Yang-Baxter equation. It is known that the adjoint action of the universal R-matrix on the elements of the tensor square of the algebra constitutes a quantum ...

Development of a Four‐Language Questionnaire to Investigate Environmental Risk Factors for the Development of Canine Atopic Dermatitis and to Monitor Disease Course and Progression

open access: yesVeterinary Dermatology, Volume 37, Issue 1, Page 34-44, February 2026.
Background: The chronic and multifactorial character of canine atopic dermatitis (cAD) often leads to poor disease control and treatment dissatisfaction. Environmental factors are likely to contribute to the disease development and may play a more important role than assumed previously.
