Interleukin‐1α Mediates Pancreatic Fibroblast Activation, Regulates Immune Cell Recruitment and Fibrosis in Acute and Chronic Pancreatitis

During pancreatitis, IL‐1α is released from necrotic acinar cells. In response to IL‐1α, pancreatic fibroblasts release chemokines and cytokines that regulate the recruitment of immune cells to the damaged organ. Furthermore, IL‐1α primes fibroblasts, resulting in increased tissue fibrosis during chronic pancreatitis.

Prion‐Like Protein LENG8‐Mediated Nucleation Drives Stress Granule Assembly

LENG8 is a newly identified stress granule (SG) nucleator required for SG assembly. Following stress, nuclear LENG8 granules disassemble, allowing LENG8 to translocate into the cytoplasm and form independent nucleation foci. These foci fuse with canonical early G3BP1/TIA1 seeds via LENG8‐TIA1 binding to drive SG maturation.

An Unbiased Geometry‐Resolved Membrane Platform for Proteome‐Scale Discovery of Membrane Curvature Sensors

A novel geometry‐resolved membrane platform provides a seamlessly integrated pipeline for studying curvature‐sensing proteins. By linking shotgun proteomics with quantitative imaging, this approach enables both the unbiased discovery and rigorous validation of novel sensors across the entire curvature range—positive, negative, and zero.
