Phase portraits and new exact traveling wave solutions of the (2+1)-dimensional Hirota system

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2023
In this paper, we investigate the (2+1)-dimensional Hirota system of equations, which is essential for modeling physical events since it contains the NLS equation and the cmKdV equation. We apply the Jacobi elliptic function method to obtain new results.

Stationary solutions and dynamical evolution of the nonlocal Gross–Pitaevskii equation in spin-2 Bose–Einstein condensates

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2023
In this paper, we investigate the nonlocal Gross–Pitaevskii equation which describes the phenomena of Bose–Einstein condensates under the mean field approximation.

The Jacobi Elliptic Equation Method for Solving Fractional Partial Differential Equations

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
Based on a nonlinear fractional complex transformation, the Jacobi elliptic equation method is extended to seek exact solutions for fractional partial differential equations in the sense of the modified Riemann-Liouville derivative.

Unveiling New Perspectives on the Hirota–Maccari System With Multiplicative White Noise

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In this study, we delve into the stochastic Hirota–Maccari system, which is subjected to multiplicative noise according to the Itô sense. The stochastic Hirota–Maccari system is significant for its ability to accurately model how stochastic affects nonlinear wave propagation, providing valuable insights into complex systems like fluid dynamics

Differentiable Randers‐Finsler Eikonal Solvers

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
Abstract Fast and differentiable solvers for anisotropic and asymmetric distance fields are a key primitive in geometry processing, enabling gradient‐based optimization over metrics, drift fields, and downstream objectives that depend on geodesic distances and geodesics.

Abundant Exact Travelling Wave Solutions for a Fractional Massive Thirring Model Using Extended Jacobi Elliptic Function Method

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2022
The fractional massive Thirring model is a coupled system of nonlinear PDEs emerging in the study of the complex ultrashort pulse propagation analysis of nonlinear wave functions.

The Politics of Pointing: Lessing's Fingerzeig and the Limits of Figural Reading

open access: yesThe German Quarterly, EarlyView.
Abstract Lessing's Fingerzeig—a “pointer” that guides without determining judgment—has often been treated as a stylistic habit rather than a hermeneutic principle. This essay reconstructs it as an ethics of interpretation, a gesture that orients without completing and leaves judgment to whoever follows.

New Jacobi Elliptic Function Solutions for the Zakharov Equations [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2012
A generalized (G′/G)‐expansion method is proposed to seek the exact solutions of nonlinear evolution equations. Being concise and straightforward, this method is applied to the Zakharov equations. As a result, some new Jacobi elliptic function solutions of the Zakharov equations are obtained. This method can also be applied to other nonlinear evolution

The Long Shadow of Karl Weierstraß Over the Calculus of Variations

open access: yesProceedings in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, Volume 26, Issue 4, December 2026.
ABSTRACT At first glance, it appears that the contents of Karl Weierstraß's (1815–1897) lecture courses on the calculus of variations were made available to the public only in the seventh volume of his Mathematische Werke, and thus not until 30 years after his death.
