The current study is concerned analytical solutions of the nonlinear potential KdV equation. Here, we implemented the Jacobi elliptic function method for soliton, hyperbolic and periodic solutions. Moreover, we illustrate our results with some graphs.

The Politics of Pointing: Lessing's Fingerzeig and the Limits of Figural Reading
Abstract Lessing's Fingerzeig—a “pointer” that guides without determining judgment—has often been treated as a stylistic habit rather than a hermeneutic principle. This essay reconstructs it as an ethics of interpretation, a gesture that orients without completing and leaves judgment to whoever follows.

This article considers the stochastic fractional Radhakrishnan-Kundu-Lakshmanan equation (SFRKLE), which is a higher order nonlinear Schrödinger equation with cubic nonlinear terms in Kerr law. To find novel elliptic, trigonometric, rational, and stochastic fractional solutions, the Jacobi elliptic function technique is applied.

The Long Shadow of Karl Weierstraß Over the Calculus of Variations
ABSTRACT At first glance, it appears that the contents of Karl Weierstraß's (1815–1897) lecture courses on the calculus of variations were made available to the public only in the seventh volume of his Mathematische Werke, and thus not until 30 years after his death.

ABSTRACT Stochastic Galerkin methods offer unexplored potential for the numerical simulation of parabolic problems with random variables, in particular if they are combined with variational discretizations of the space and time variables. Due to the high dimensionality, the solution of the arising algebraic systems do not become feasible without ...

Exact soliton solutions of the time‐fractional Akbota equation with the beta derivative are obtained using three analytical methods. Bifurcation, stability, and phase‐plane analyses reveal stable and unstable equilibrium states, demonstrating controllable nonlinear wave dynamics with promising applications in optical fiber communication, nonlinear ...

In this paper, we consider a coupled space-time fractional nonlinear Schrödinger type equation which can be used for describing nonrelativistic quantum mechanical behavior. Under the help of the fractional complex transform and the conformable fractional

ABSTRACT Vector extrapolation techniques can be highly effective when used to accelerate the convergence of fixed‐point iterative methods, such as the Picard method. In this study, we investigate the numerical solution of nonlinear problems. Specifically, we address the nonlinear eigenvalue Bratu problem and the Monge–Ampère equation using a multigrid ...
